What we want
Countdown 2015 Europe aims to increase European donor support for family planning in developing countries.
In partnership with civil society organizations in the global South, the consortium works to increase understanding of the link between poverty and the unmet need for family planning.
It also communicates the family planning demands of developing countries to EU policymakers, and works to increase European funding to meet these demands.
Countdown 2015 Europe achieves these aims by:
- Strengthening the advocacy capacity of European reproductive health NGOs.
- Enhancing and improving the dialogue and coordination between European civil society, EU Member States and the EU institutions on the unmet need for family planning.
